<p>How can you create a culture of success in your organization?</p>
<p><span id="more-441"></span>Expanding our organizations and surviving in a rapidly changing and competitive global environment has many challenges. One of the biggest ones that organizations, entrepreneurs and leaders, in general, are facing is the lack of training that could allow them to develop a global mindset and a competitive corporate culture.</p>
<p>This training should begin with one of the most important competencies that a global leader should have: self-cultural knowledge.</p>
<p>When we observe the behavior of people from other cultures, organizations, groups or families and misinterpret them according to our own set of assumptions and values, and vice versa, misunderstandings and miscommunication may occur.</p>

<p>Understanding others from their point of view has been and will continue to be what gives us the ability to communicate effectively, in order to avoid misunderstandings, to connect with others, to have successful relationships and even more to exercise a winning influence.</p>
<p>Increasing self-cultural knowledge has several advantages for the global leader, such as:</p>

<li>Expand their knowledge about their own values, beliefs and work patterns;</li>
<li>Understand others from their point of view and know their approach;</li>
<li>Establish differences and similarities with others;</li>
<li>Project the right image in order to develop credibility;</li>
<li>Recognize the difference between generalizations and stereotypes;</li>
<li>Connect with others and influence them successfully</li>
</ul>
<p>One of the most effective practices to create and maintain a successful culture in any organization and, to elevate the leadership capabilities of today’s globalization demands, is to expand the organizational global mindset as well as its cultural self-knowledge.</p>
