Let’s discuss why priorities are vital for anyone and for leaders in particular. Also, we will talk about what is that one thing that usually confused most people, when it comes to priorities.

Watch Video

We had heard people talking about time management for many years, at schools, workplaces, even at home. But, the reality is that time can’t be managed. No one can change it, control it, or extended it. All of us have 24 hours per day and 7 days per week. That is a fact; yet, we would like to know, how we can obtain the best of the time we have.

For anyone who would like to be productive and have better results, the question is not: will my daily agenda be full? But who and what will fill my daily agenda?

If you feel that you don’t have enough time, that the day is gone and you still have many things to do on your list, is time to examine yourself, your choices, your calendar, your agenda, and the most important area, your priorities. Examine them, because, these are the things that you can control.

We need to determine how we will spend the most valuable resource: our time. That requires us to prioritize our time so we get more production out of those hours. How are you spending the twenty-four hours that you have every day?

For a leader, the ability to prioritize is fundamental because leaders are impacting so many other people. That’s why I want to help you identify what you ought to want as a leader, according to your priorities.

So, let’s start understanding that there are two difficult things to do: to establish priorities and to do things in order of importance.

Nobody escapes the pressures of today’s fast lifestyles, and because we all deal with demands, deadlines, and difficulties, we can get confused when it comes to our priorities.

Most people overestimate the importance of a large number of things. You probably have a long list of things to do; however, not all of them are important, nor are priorities.

There is a difference between, urgent things to do, important things to do, and priorities. This is usually what confused most people when it comes to priorities. Psychologist William James said, “The art of being wise is knowing what to overlook” isn’t it a great reminder to all of us? We need to stop thinking that all things are important; even more, than they are priorities. Petty and mundane tasks threaten to steal much of our time. If we are not careful, we can start living for the wrong things and wasting our most valuable resources.

So, let’s find more about priorities, and let’s find out where we need to focus our attention and resources.

Would you like to have better results despite the current circumstances? Are you willing to step out of your comfort zone, face challenges, and live each day according to your priorities? I invite you to talk about PRIORITIES and how to make them part of your days. Let’s build today a practical strategy that allows you to make the right decisions and have better results despite the circumstances. A strategy that allows you to stay out of your comfort zone, face challenges, and focus on your priorities.
